We are very close to the border between Germany and The Netherlands, on the German side, and to the west of the large industrial Ruhr area. Düsseldorf is the capital of this German state (NRW) so that will be our point of orientation.

• From Düsseldorf, take the Motorway (Autobahn) A52 traveling west in the direction of Roermond in The Netherlands, but stay on the motorway only as far as the 2nd exit after Mönchengladbach-West.
• Leave the A52 at the Exit (Ausfahrt) marked Hostert / Waldniel / Wegberg. This is the 2nd exit west of a large intersection of motorways at Mönchengladbach-West.
• Turn into the B230, a highway identified with yellow signs, and travel in the direction of Waldniel.
• You will drive across an intersection with traffic lights and also pass a pedestrian signal light. Now turn RIGHT into the next street. A sign here points to Waldniel.
• In this direction you again pass one intersection and drive to the roundabout.
• Exit from the roundabout into the 1st street to the RIGHT. This is Dülkener Strasse
• From Dülkener Strasse, take the 2nd turn LEFT to Richard-Wagner-Platz.
• SYCON is located in the 1st building on the RIGHT side of Richard-Wagner-Platz.
